13 Moses commanded the people of Israel, saying, “This is the land that you shall inherit by lot, which the Lord has commanded to give to the nine tribes and to the half-tribe. (Nu 34:2; Jos 14:1) 

New International Version

13 Moses commanded the Israelites: ‘Assign this land by lot as an inheritance. The Lord has ordered that it be given to the nine-and-a-half tribes,

13 Moses gave the Israelites a command. He said, ‘Cast lots when you divide up the land. Each tribe will have its own share. The LORD has ordered it to be given to the nine and a half tribes.
