41 And Jair the son of Manasseh went and captured their villages, and called them Havvoth-jair.[1] (De 3:14; 1Ch 2:21) 

New International Version

41 Jair, a descendant of Manasseh, captured their settlements and called them Havvoth Jair.[1] 

New International Reader’s Version

41 Jair was from the family line of Manasseh. Jair captured Gilead’s settlements. He called them Havvoth Jair. 

King James Version
