Nehemiah 7:65

English Standard Version

65 The governor told them that they were not to partake of the most holy food until a priest with Urim and Thummim should arise. (Ezr 2:63; Ne 8:9; Ne 10:1)

New International Version

65 The governor, therefore, ordered them not to eat any of the most sacred food until there should be a priest ministering with the Urim and Thummim.

New International Reader’s Version

65 The governor gave them an order. He told them not to eat any of the most sacred food. They had to wait until there was a priest who could use the Urim and Thummim. The priest would use them to get decisions from the LORD.

King James Version

65 And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and Thummim.
