Joshua 24:2

English Standard Version

2 And Joshua said to all the people, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, ‘Long ago, your fathers lived beyond the Euphrates,[1] Terah, the father of Abraham and of Nahor; and they served other gods. (Ge 11:27; Ge 31:30; Ge 35:2) 

New International Version

2 Joshua said to all the people, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: “Long ago your ancestors, including Terah the father of Abraham and Nahor, lived beyond the River Euphrates and worshipped other gods. 

New International Reader’s Version

2 Joshua spoke to all the people. He said, ‘The LORD is the God of Israel. He says, “Long ago your people lived east of the River Euphrates. They worshipped other gods there. Your people included Terah. He was the father of Abraham and Nahor. 

King James Version

2 And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.
