John 11:4

4 But when Jesus heard it he said, “This illness does not lead to death. It is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” (Mt 9:24; Joh 9:3; Joh 11:11; Joh 11:40; Joh 13:31) 

New International Version

4 When he heard this, Jesus said, ‘This illness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

4 When Jesus heard this, he said, ‘This illness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory. God’s Son will receive glory because of it.’ 

King James Version

4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
