Jeremiah 9:23

English Standard Version

23 Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, (Pr 3:5; Pr 21:30; Ec 9:11) 

New International Version

23 This is what the Lord says: ‘Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, 

New International Reader’s Version

23 The LORD says, ‘Do not let wise people boast about how wise they are. Do not let strong people boast about how strong they are. Do not let rich people boast about how rich they are.
