Jeremiah 9:14

English Standard Version

14 but have stubbornly followed their own hearts and have gone after the Baals, as their fathers taught them. (Jer 3:17) 

New International Version

14 Instead, they have followed the stubbornness of their hearts; they have followed the Baals, as their ancestors taught them.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

14 Instead, they have done what their stubborn hearts wanted them to do. They have worshipped the gods that are named Baal. They have done what their people have taught them to do through the years.’
