Jeremiah 5:24

English Standard Version

24 They do not say in their hearts, ‘Let us fear the Lord our God, who gives the rain in its season, the autumn rain and the spring rain, and keeps for us the weeks appointed for the harvest.’ (Ge 8:22; De 11:14; Job 5:10; Ps 147:8; Jer 14:22; Mt 5:45) 

New International Version

24 They do not say to themselves, “Let us fear the Lord our God, who gives autumn and spring rains in season, who assures us of the regular weeks of harvest.” 

New International Reader’s Version

24 You do not say to yourselves, ‘Let us have respect for the LORD our God. He sends rain in the autumn and the spring. He promises us that the harvest will come at the same time each year.’ 

King James Version

24 Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.
