Jeremiah 42:14

English Standard Version

14 and saying, ‘No, we will go to the land of Egypt, where we shall not see war or hear the sound of the trumpet or be hungry for bread, and we will dwell there,’ (Jer 4:19; Jer 37:21; Jer 41:17) 

New International Version

14 and if you say, “No, we will go and live in Egypt, where we will not see war or hear the trumpet or be hungry for bread,”

14 And suppose you say, “No! We’ll go and live in Egypt. There we won’t have to face war anymore. We won’t hear the trumpets of war. And we won’t get hungry.”
