Jeremiah 32:5

English Standard Version

5 And he shall take Zedekiah to Babylon, and there he shall remain until I visit him, declares the Lord. Though you fight against the Chaldeans, you shall not succeed’?” (Jer 21:4; Jer 33:5; Jer 39:7; Jer 52:11) 

New International Version

5 He will take Zedekiah to Babylon, where he will remain until I deal with him, declares the Lord. If you fight against the Babylonians, you will not succeed.” ’ 

New International Reader’s Version

5 Nebuchadnezzar will take Zedekiah to Babylon. Zedekiah will remain there until I deal with him,’ announces the LORD. ‘Suppose you fight against the armies of Babylon. If you do, you will not succeed.’ ” ’ 

King James Version

5 And he shall lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there shall he be until I visit him, saith the LORD: though ye fight with the Chaldeans, ye shall not prosper.
