Isaiah 61:7

English Standard Version

7 Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy. (Isa 40:2; Isa 54:7; Zec 9:12) 

New International Version

7 Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. 

New International Reader’s Version

7 Instead of being put to shame you will receive a double share of wealth. Instead of being dishonoured you will be glad to be in your land. You will receive a double share of riches there. And you’ll be filled with joy that will last for ever. 

King James Version

7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
