Isaiah 59:8

English Standard Version

8 The way of peace they do not know, and there is no justice in their paths; they have made their roads crooked; no one who treads on them knows peace. (Isa 48:22; Isa 57:21) 

New International Version

8 The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no-one who walks along them will know peace. 

New International Reader’s Version

8 They don’t know how to live at peace with others. What they do isn’t fair. They lead twisted lives. No one who lives like that will enjoy peace and rest. 

King James Version

8 The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
