22 Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. (Le 17:11) 

New International Version

22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. 

New International Reader’s Version

22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be made ‘clean’ with blood. Without the spilling of blood, no one can be forgiven. 

King James Version

22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
