7 Then the Lord God formed a man[1] from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. 

New International Reader’s Version

7 Then the LORD God formed a man. He made him out of the dust of the ground. God breathed the breath of life into him. And the man became a living person. 

King James Version

7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
