Esther 8:1

English Standard Version

1 On that day King Ahasuerus gave to Queen Esther the house of Haman, the enemy of the Jews. And Mordecai came before the king, for Esther had told what he was to her. (Es 2:7; Es 2:15; Es 7:6) 

New International Version

1 That same day King Xerxes gave Queen Esther the estate of Haman, the enemy of the Jews. And Mordecai came into the presence of the king, for Esther had told how he was related to her. 

New International Reader’s Version

1 That same day King Xerxes gave Queen Esther everything Haman had owned. Haman had been the enemy of the Jews. Esther had told the king that Mordecai was her cousin. So Mordecai came to see the king. 

King James Version

1 On that day did the king Ahasuerus give the house of Haman the Jews'enemy unto Esther the queen. And Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what he was unto her.
