Deuteronomy 4:16

English Standard Version

16 beware lest you act corruptly by making a carved image for yourselves, in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female, (Ex 20:4; De 4:23; De 4:25; De 5:8; Ac 17:29; Ro 1:23) 

New International Version

16 so that you do not become corrupt and make for yourselves an idol, an image of any shape, whether formed like a man or a woman, 

New International Reader’s Version

16 Make sure you don’t commit a horrible sin. Don’t make for yourselves a statue of a god. Don’t make a god that looks like a man or woman or anything else. 

King James Version

16 Lest ye corrupt yourselves , and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,
