27 Tekel, you have been weighed[1] in the balances and found wanting; (Job 31:6; Ps 62:9)

27 ‘Tekel[1]: You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting. 

New International Reader’s Version

27 ‘The word Tekel means that you have been weighed on scales. And you haven’t measured up to God’s standard.
