6 buying the poor with silver and the needy for a pair of sandals, selling even the sweepings with the wheat. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 You buy poor people to make slaves out of them. You buy those who are in need for a mere pair of sandals. You even sell the worthless parts of your wheat. 

King James Version

6 That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea , and sell the refuse of the wheat?
