22 beginning from the baptism of John until the day when he was taken up from us—one of these men must become with us a witness to his resurrection.” (Mr 1:1; Lu 24:48; Ac 1:2; Ac 1:8; Ac 1:9; Ac 4:33; Ac 13:24; 1Pe 1:3) 

New International Version

22 beginning from John’s baptism to the time when Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must become a witness with us of his resurrection.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

22 That time began when John was baptising. It ended when Jesus was taken up from us. The one we choose must join us in telling people that Jesus rose from the dead.’ 

King James Version

22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.
