47 For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, “‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’” (Isa 42:6; Isa 45:22; Isa 49:6; Lu 2:32; Ac 1:8; Ac 11:18; Ac 13:26) 

New International Version

47 For this is what the Lord has commanded us: ‘ “I have made you[1] a light for the Gentiles, that you[2] may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” ’ (Isa 49:6) 

New International Reader’s Version

47 This is what the Lord has commanded us to do. He said, ‘ “I have made you a light for the Gentiles. You will bring salvation to the whole earth.” ’ (Isa 49:6) 

King James Version

47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
