1 Then Hannah prayed and said: ‘My heart rejoices in the Lord; in the Lord my horn[1] is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. 

New International Reader’s Version

1 Then Hannah prayed. She said, ‘The LORD has filled my heart with joy. He has made me strong. I can laugh at my enemies. I’m so glad he saved me. 

King James Version

1 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.
