Cantate al Signore un cantico nuovo, perché egli ha operato prodigi; la sua destra e il suo braccio santo lo hanno reso vittorioso.2Il Signore ha fatto conoscere la sua salvezza, ha manifestato la sua giustizia davanti alle nazioni.3Si è ricordato della sua bontà e della sua fedeltà verso la casa d’Israele; tutte le estremità della terra hanno visto la salvezza del nostro Dio.4Acclamate il Signore, abitanti di tutta la terra, date in canti di gioia e di lode,5salmeggiate al Signore con la cetra, con la cetra e la voce del canto.6Con trombe e al suono del corno acclamate il re, il Signore.7Risuoni il mare e quanto contiene, il mondo e i suoi abitanti.8I fiumi battano le mani, esultino insieme i monti davanti al Signore. Poiché egli viene a governare la terra;9egli governerà il mondo con giustizia, e i popoli con rettitudine.
