Psalm 113 | New International Version
1 Praise the Lord.* Praise the Lord, you his servants; praise the name of the Lord. 2 Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and for evermore. 3 From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised. 4 The Lord is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens. 5 Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high, 6 who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth? 7 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; 8 he seats them with princes, with the princes of his people. 9 He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the Lord.

1 Halleluja – Preist den HERRN! Ihr seine Diener, preist ihn! Rühmt seinen großen Namen! 2 Dankt eurem mächtigen Herrn, jetzt und in aller Zukunft! 3 Von dort, wo die Sonne aufgeht, bis dorthin, wo sie versinkt – überall werde der HERR gepriesen! 4 Herrscher über alle Völker ist der HERR, seine Herrlichkeit überstrahlt den Himmel. 5 Wer im Himmel oder auf der Erde gleicht dem HERRN, unserem Gott, ihm, der im höchsten Himmel thront und hinabschaut in die tiefste Tiefe? 7 Den Armen holt er aus der Not, den Hilflosen heraus aus seinem Elend 8 und gibt ihm einen Ehrenplatz bei den Angesehenen seines Volkes. 9 Der Frau, die keine Kinder haben konnte, verschafft er ein sicheres Zuhause und macht sie zu einer glücklichen Mutter. Preist den HERRN – Halleluja!
