Psalm 121 | New International Version

A song of ascents.

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip – he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord watches over you – the Lord is your shade at your right hand;

6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord will keep you from all harm – he will watch over your life;

8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and for evermore.

Mon secours vient de l’Eternel

1 Cantique pour la route vers la demeure de l’Eternel*. Je lève les yeux vers les monts: d’où le secours me viendra-t-il?

2 Mon secours vient de l’Eternel qui a fait le ciel et la terre.

3 Il te gardera des faux pas, celui qui te protège ╵ne sommeillera pas.

4 Non, jamais il ne dort, ╵jamais il ne sommeille, celui qui protège Israël.

5 L’Eternel est ton protecteur, l’Eternel est à ton côté ╵comme une ombre qui te protège.

6 Le soleil ne te frappera donc pas le jour, ni la lune pendant la nuit.

7 L’Eternel te gardera de tout mal: il gardera ta vie.

8 L’Eternel veillera sur toi ╵pendant tes allées et venues, dès maintenant et à jamais.
