1Clap your hands, all you nations. Shout to God with cries of joy.2Do this because the LORD Most High is wonderful. He is the great King over the whole earth.3He brought nations under our control. He made them fall under us.4He chose our land for us. The people of Jacob are proud of their land, and God loves them.5God went up to his throne while his people were shouting with joy. The LORD went up while trumpets were playing.6Sing praises to God. Sing praises. Sing praises to our King. Sing praises.7God is the King of the whole earth. Sing a psalm of praise to him.8God rules over the nations. He is seated on his holy throne.9The nobles of the nations come together. They are now part of the people of the God of Abraham. The kings of the earth belong to God. He is greatly honoured.

1Ein Lied der Korachiter.2Ihr Völker alle, klatscht in die Hände, begrüßt unseren Gott mit Freudengeschrei!3Der HERR ist der Höchste, vor ihm erschrickt alles, er, der große König, regiert die ganze Erde.4Er hat uns die anderen Völker unterworfen und Nationen in unsere Gewalt gebracht.5Das Land, das wir besitzen, unser ganzer Stolz – er selbst hat es für uns ausgewählt, denn er liebt die Nachkommen Jakobs.6Gott ist zu seinem Thron hinaufgestiegen, unter Jubelrufen und Hörnerschall nimmt er ihn ein.7Singt und spielt zu Gottes Ehre! Singt und spielt zur Ehre unseres Königs!8Denn Gott ist der König der ganzen Erde; preist ihn mit eurem schönsten Lied!9Gott herrscht über alle Völker; er sitzt auf seinem heiligen Thron.10Die Großen der Völker kommen herbei, sie versammeln sich mit dem Volk, das dem Gott Abrahams gehört.* Ihm unterwerfen sich die Mächtigen der Erde, denn er steht hoch über ihnen allen.
