I cry aloud to God, aloud to God, and he will hear me.2In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out without wearying; my soul refuses to be comforted.3When I remember God, I moan; when I meditate, my spirit faints.4You hold my eyelids open; I am so troubled that I cannot speak.5I consider the days of old, the years long ago.6I said,* “Let me remember my song in the night; let me meditate in my heart.” Then my spirit made a diligent search:7“Will the Lord spurn forever, and never again be favorable?8Has his steadfast love forever ceased? Are his promises at an end for all time?9Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he in anger shut up his compassion?”10Then I said, “I will appeal to this, to the years of the right hand of the Most High.”*11I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old.12I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds.13Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God?14You are the God who works wonders; you have made known your might among the peoples.15You with your arm redeemed your people, the children of Jacob and Joseph.16When the waters saw you, O God, when the waters saw you, they were afraid; indeed, the deep trembled.17The clouds poured out water; the skies gave forth thunder; your arrows flashed on every side.18The crash of your thunder was in the whirlwind; your lightnings lighted up the world; the earth trembled and shook.19Your way was through the sea, your path through the great waters; yet your footprints were unseen.*20You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

1با صدايی بلند به سوی خدا فرياد برمیآورم! به سوی خدا فرياد برمیآورم تا صدای مرا بشنود.2به هنگام زحمت از خدا كمک میطلبم. تمام شب به سوی او دست نياز دراز میكنم. تا دعايم را مستجاب نكند آرام نخواهم گرفت.3خدا را به ياد میآورم و از حسرت مینالم. به فكر فرو میروم و پريشان میشوم.4او نمیگذارد خواب بچشمانم بيايد. از شدت ناراحتی نمیتوانم حرف بزنم.5به روزهای گذشته فكر میكنم، به سالهايی كه پشت سر نهادهام میانديشم.6تمام شب را در تفكر میگذرانم و از خود میپرسم:7«مگر خدا مرا برای هميشه ترک كرده است؟ آيا او ديگر هرگز از من راضی نخواهد شد؟8آيا ديگر هرگز به من رحم نخواهد كرد؟ آيا ديگر هرگز به قول خود وفا نخواهد كرد؟9آيا خدا مهربانی و دلسوزی را فراموش كرده است؟ آيا غضب او باعث شده در رحمت او بسته شود؟»10سپس به خود میگويم: «اين از ضعف من است كه چنين فكر میكنم. پس سالهايی را كه دست خداوند قادر متعال در كار بوده است به ياد خواهم آورد.»11بلی، معجزات و كارهای بزرگی را كه خداوند انجام داده است به ياد خواهم آورد12و در كارهای شگفتانگيز او تفكر خواهم كرد.13ای خدا، تمام راههای تو پاک و بیعيب است! خدايی به بزرگی و عظمت تو وجود ندارد.14تو آن خدايی هستی كه معجزه میكنی و قدرت خود را بر قومها نمايان میسازی.15با دست توانای خود بنیاسرائيل را رهانيدی.16آبها وقتی تو را ديدند به عقب رفتند و اعماق دريا به لرزه درآمد.17از ابرها باران باريد. در آسمان رعد و برق پديد آمد و تيرهای آتشين به هر سو جهيد.18در ميان گردباد صدای رعد شنيده شد و برقهای آسمان دنيا را روشن كرد. زمين تكان خورد و لرزيد.19از ميان دريا جايی كه هرگز به فكر كسی نمیرسيد راهی پديد آوردی و مانند يک شبان، بنیاسرائيل را به رهبری موسی و هارون از آن عبور دادی.
