1ای خداوند، به داد ما برس، زيرا ديگر اثری از خداشناسان نيست و انسان درستكاری در دنيا باقی نمانده است.2همه دروغ میگويند و با چاپلوسی يكديگر را فريب میدهند.3ای خداوند، زبان چاپلوسان و متكبران را ببر كه میگويند: «ما هر چه را كه بخواهيم با زبانمان به دست میآوريم. هر چه را كه بخواهيم میگوييم و كسی نمیتواند مانع ما شود.»5خداوند میگويد: «من برمیخيزم و به داد فقيران و درماندگان میرسم و آنها را از دست ظالمان نجات میبخشم.»6وعدههای خداوند، مانند نقرهای كه هفت بار در كوره تصفيه شده باشد، پاک و قابل اعتماد است.7ای خداوند، هر چند پای اشخاص بدكار به همه جا رسيده است و مردم كارهای پليد آنها را ستايش میكنند، ولی تو ما را تا ابد از چنين اشخاص حفظ خواهی كرد.
