Blessed Is Everyone Who Fears the Lord

1 A Song of Ascents. Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways! 2 You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you. 3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. 4 Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord. 5 The Lord bless you from Zion! May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life! 6 May you see your children’s children! Peace be upon Israel!

1 ¡Cuán bienaventurado es el que teme a YHVH, Y anda en sus caminos! 2 Cuando comas del duro trabajo de tus manos, Serás bienaventurado y te irá bien. 3 Tu mujer será como vid fecunda en la intimidad de tu casa, Tus hijos, como renuevos del olivo en torno a tu mesa. 4 He aquí así será bendecido el valiente que teme a YHVH. 5 ¡Desde Sión te bendiga YHVH, Y veas el bien de Jerusalem todos los días de tu vida, 6 Y veas a los hijos de tus hijos ¡Paz sea sobre Israel!
