Psalm 93

New International Version

1 The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength; indeed, the world is established, firm and secure. 2 Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity. 3 The seas have lifted up, Lord, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves. 4 Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea – the Lord on high is mighty. 5 Your statutes, Lord, stand firm; holiness adorns your house for endless days.

1 The Lord reigns; he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed; he has put on strength as his belt. Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved. (1Ch 16:31; Ps 46:5; Ps 65:6; Ps 96:10; Ps 104:1; Ps 125:1; Isa 51:9) 2 Your throne is established from of old; you are from everlasting. (Ps 45:6; Ps 90:2) 3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their roaring. (Ps 98:7; Hab 3:10) 4 Mightier than the thunders of many waters, mightier than the waves of the sea, the Lord on high is mighty! (Ps 65:6; Ps 92:8) 5 Your decrees are very trustworthy; holiness befits your house, O Lord, forevermore. (Ps 29:2; Ps 89:28; Ps 89:37)
