Psalm 110

King James Version

1 A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. 

2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. 

3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. 

4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. 

5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. 

6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. 

7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

1 A Psalm of David. 2 The Lord sends forth from Zion your mighty scepter. Rule in the midst of your enemies! (Ps 45:6; Ps 68:35; Ps 72:8; Jer 48:17; Eze 19:14; Da 7:13) 

3 Your people will offer themselves freely on the day of your power, in holy garments; from the womb of the morning, the dew of your youth will be yours. (Ex 35:29; Jud 5:2; 1Ch 16:29; Ne 11:2; Isa 13:3; Re 19:14) 

4 The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, “You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.” (Ge 14:18; Nu 23:19; Ps 132:11; Zec 6:13; Joh 12:34; Heb 5:6; Heb 6:17; Heb 6:20; Heb 7:17; Heb 7:21; Heb 7:24; Heb 7:28) 

5 The Lord is at your right hand; he will shatter kings on the day of his wrath. (Ps 2:5; Ps 2:12; Ps 16:8; Ps 68:14; Ro 2:5; Re 6:17) 

6 He will execute judgment among the nations, filling them with corpses; he will shatter chiefs over the wide earth. (Ps 68:21; Isa 2:4; Eze 39:17; Joe 3:12; Mic 4:3; Re 19:17) 

7 He will drink from the brook by the way; therefore he will lift up his head. (Jud 7:5)
