And at evening it was over the tabernacle like the appearance of fire until morning. 4Mo 9,16 So it was always: the cloud covered it by day* and the appearance of fire by night. 4Mo 11,1 The People Complain And the people complained in the hearing of the LORD about their misfortunes, and when the LORD heard it, his anger was kindled, and the fire of the LORD burned among them and consumed some outlying parts of the camp. 4Mo 11,2 Then the people cried out to Moses, and Moses prayed to the LORD, and the fire died down. 4Mo 11,3 So the name of that place was called Taberah,* because the fire of the LORD burned among them. 4Mo 14,14 and they will tell the inhabitants of this land. He said: 5Mo 5,22 “These words the LORD spoke to all your assembly at the mountain out of the midst of the fire, the cloud, and the thick darkness, with a loud voice; and he added no more. And he wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me. 5Mo 5,23 And as soon as you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, while the mountain was burning with fire, you came near to me, all the heads of your tribes, and your elders. 5Mo 5,24 And you said, ‘Behold, the LORD our God has shown us his glory and greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire. This day we have seen God speak with man, and man still live. 5Mo 5,25 Now therefore why should we die? For this great fire will consume us. If we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, we shall die. 5Mo 5,26 For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of fire as we have, and has still lived? 5Mo 7,5 But thus shall you deal with them: you shall break down their altars and dash in pieces their pillars and chop down their Asherim and burn their carved images with fire. 5Mo 7,25 The carved images of their gods you shall burn with fire. You shall not covet the silver or the gold that is on them or take it for yourselves, lest you be ensnared by it, for it is an abomination to the LORD your God. 5Mo 9,3 Know therefore today that he who goes over before you as a consuming fire is the LORD your God. You shall chop down the carved images of their gods and destroy their name out of that place. 5Mo 12,31 You shall not worship the LORD your God in that way, for every abominable thing that the LORD hates they have done for their gods, for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods. 5Mo 13,16 You shall gather all its spoil into the midst of its open square and burn the city and all its spoil with fire, as a whole burnt offering to the LORD your God. It shall be a heap forever. It shall not be built again. 5Mo 18,16 just as you desired of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, when you said, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God or see this great fire any more, lest I die.’ 5Mo 32,22 For a fire is kindled by my anger, and it burns to the depths of Sheol, devours the earth and its increase, and sets on fire the foundations of the mountains. 5Mo 33,2 He said, “The LORD came from Sinai and dawned from Seir upon us;* he shone forth from Mount Paran; he came from the ten thousands of holy ones, with flaming fire* at his right hand.
