Röm 4,13 The Promise Realized Through Faith For the promise to Abraham and his offspring that he would be heir of the world did not come through the law but through the righteousness of faith. Röm 4,14 For if it is the adherents of the law who are to be the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void. Röm 4,16 That is why it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his offspring—not only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, Röm 4,19 He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead ( since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness* of Sarah’s womb. Röm 4,20 No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, Röm 4,22 That is why his faith was “counted to him as righteousness.” Röm 5,1 Peace with God Through Faith Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we* have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Röm 5,2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith* into this grace in which we stand, and we* rejoice* in hope of the glory of God. Röm 9,30 Israel’s Unbelief What shall we say, then? That Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness have attained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith; Röm 9,32 Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. Röm 11,20 That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear. Röm 12,3 Gifts of Grace For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.
