1ای خداوند، چه كسی میتواند به خيمهٔ تو وارد شود؟ چه كسی میتواند در خانهٔ مقدس تو بماند؟2كسی كه بیعيب و بیريا باشد و هر كاری را با صداقت انجام دهد،3كسی كه از ديگران بدگويی نكند، به تهمتها گوش ندهد و به همسايهٔ خود بدی نكند،4كسی كه بدكاران را خوار بشمارد ولی به كسی كه از خدا میترسد احترام بگذارد، كسی كه به قول خود وفا كند اگرچه به ضررش تمام شود،5پول قرض دهد ولی سود آن را نگيرد، و از گرفتن رشوه برای دادن شهادت بر ضد بیگناه خودداری كند. چنين شخصی هميشه پايدار خواهد ماند.

1Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?2The one whose way of life is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart;3whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbour, and casts no slur on others;4who despises a vile person but honours those who fear the Lord; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind;5who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken.
