1در آسمان علامت عجيب ديگری ديدم كه از پيش آمد مهمی خبر میداد: هفت فرشته، هفت بلای آخر را نگاه داشته بودند كه بر زمين بريزند، تا سرانجام خشم و غضب خدا فروكش كند.2سپس، در برابر خود چيزی شبيه دريای آتش و بلور ديدم كه موج میزد. در كنار دريا كسانی ايستاده بودند كه بر آن جانور خبيث و مجسمهاش و بر آن علامت و عددش پيروز شده بودند. همهٔ آنان چنگهايی در دست داشتند كه خدا به ايشان داده بود،3و سرود«موسی» خدمتگزار خدا و سرود«برّه» را میخواندند، و میگفتند: «بزرگ و باشكوه است كارهای تو، ای خدای بیهمتا! حق و عدل است راههای تو، ای پادشاه قومها! ای خداوند، كيست كه از تو نترسد؟ كيست كه نام تو را حرمت ندارد؟ زيرا تنها تو پاكی. همهٔ قومها خواهند آمد و در پيشگاه تو پرستش خواهند كرد، زيرا كارهای خوب تو را میبينند.»

5سپس، نگاه كردم و مقدسترین جايگاه حضور خدا را در آسمان ديدم كه به روی همه كاملاً باز بود.6آن هفت فرشته كه هفت بلا را نگاه داشته بودند تا بر زمين بريزند، از حضور خدا بيرون آمدند. ايشان لباس سفيد بیلكهای بر تن داشتند كه از كتان پاک بود، و دور سينهشان نيز كمربندی طلايی بسته بودند.7يكی از آن چهار موجود زنده، به هر يک از فرشتگان جامی زرّين داد كه پر از غضب خدای زندهٔ ابدی بود.8در همين وقت، جايگاه مقدس از دود قدرت و جلال خدا پر شد، به طوری كه ديگر كسی نمیتوانست داخل شود، تا اين كه آن هفت فرشته، هفت بلا را ريختند و تمام كردند.

The Seven Angels with Seven Plagues
1Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and amazing, seven angels with seven plagues, which are the last, for with them the wrath of God is finished.2And I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire—and also those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass with harps of God in their hands.3And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations!*4Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.”5After this I looked, and the sanctuary of the tent* of witness in heaven was opened,6and out of the sanctuary came the seven angels with the seven plagues, clothed in pure, bright linen, with golden sashes around their chests.7And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever,8and the sanctuary was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished.
