1سرودی تازه در وصف خداوند بسراييد؛ زيرا كارهای شگفتانگيز كرده و دست توانا و بازوی مقدسش او را پيروز ساخته است.2خداوند پيروزی خود را اعلام نموده و قدرت نجاتبخش خويش را بر قومها آشكار ساخته است.3او به قوم اسرائيل وعده داد كه بر ايشان رحمت فرمايد، و به وعدهاش وفا نمود. همهٔ مردم دنيا پيروزی رهايیبخش خدای ما را ديدهاند.4ای ساكنان زمين، با شادی خداوند را بستاييد؛ با صدای بلند سرود بخوانيد و او را بپرستيد.5با نغمهٔ بربط و كرنا و سرنا، خداوند را ستايش كنيد؛ در حضور خداوند بانگ شادی برآوريد.7دريا و هر آنچه كه در آن است، به جوش و خروش آيد. زمين و ساكنانش سرود بخوانند.8نهرها دست بزنند و کوهها در حضور خداوند شادی كنند؛ زيرا خداوند برای داوری جهان میآيد. او قومهای جهان را با عدل و انصاف داوری خواهد كرد.

Make a Joyful Noise to the Lord
1A Psalm. Oh sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.2The Lord has made known his salvation; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.3He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness to the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.4Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!5Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody!6With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!7Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; the world and those who dwell in it!8Let the rivers clap their hands; let the hills sing for joy together9before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.
