1 O SENHOR reina! Vestiu-se de majestade; de majestade vestiu-se o SENHOR e armou-se de poder! O mundo está firme e não se abalará.

2 O teu trono está firme desde a antiguidade; tu existes desde a eternidade.

3 As águas se levantaram, SENHOR, as águas levantaram a voz; as águas levantaram seu bramido.

4 Mais poderoso do que o estrondo das águas impetuosas, mais poderoso do que as ondas do mar é o SENHOR nas alturas.

5 Os teus mandamentos permanecem firmes e fiéis; a santidade, SENHOR, é o ornamento perpétuo da tua casa.

1 The Lord reigns; he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed; he has put on strength as his belt. Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved.

2 Your throne is established from of old; you are from everlasting.

3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their roaring.

4 Mightier than the thunders of many waters, mightier than the waves of the sea, the Lord on high is mighty!

5 Your decrees are very trustworthy; holiness befits your house, O Lord, forevermore.
