Cántico de los peregrinos.

1 Dichosos todos los que temen al SEÑOR, los que van por sus caminos.

2 Lo que ganes con tus manos, eso comerás; gozarás de dicha y prosperidad.

3 En el seno de tu hogar, tu esposa será como vid llena de uvas; alrededor de tu mesa, tus hijos serán como vástagos de olivo.

4 Tales son las bendiciones de los que temen al SEÑOR.

5 Que el SEÑOR te bendiga desde Sión, y veas la prosperidad de Jerusalén todos los días de tu vida.

6 Que vivas para ver a los hijos de tus hijos. ¡Que haya paz en Israel!

Het Boek

1 Een bedevaartslied. U bent een gelukkig mens als u ontzag hebt voor de HERE en doet wat Hij wil.

2 Uw werk zal u voldoende opleveren om van te leven. Het gaat goed met u en u bent heel gelukkig.

3 Uw vrouw die bij u woont, zal vruchtbaar zijn. Uw zonen zitten bij u aan tafel.

4 Luister, al die zegeningen zijn voor wie diep ontzag heeft voor de HERE.

5 Ik bid dat de HERE u vanuit Jeruzalem zal zegenen, dan zult u zien hoe goed het met de stad is, zolang u leeft.

6 En u zult zien hoe goed het is met uw kleinkinderen. Laat er vrede zijn in Israël!
