Bontà eterna di Dio

1 Celebrate il Signore, perché egli è buono, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno.

2 Celebrate il Dio degli dèi, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno.

3 Celebrate il Signore dei signori, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno.

4 Colui che solo opera grandi prodigi, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno.

5 Colui che ha fatto con sapienza i cieli, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno.

6 Colui che ha steso la terra sopra le acque, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno.

7 Colui che ha fatto i grandi luminari, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno:

8 il sole per regnare sul giorno, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno;

9 e la luna e le stelle per regnare sulla notte, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno.

10 Colui che percosse gli Egiziani nei loro primogeniti, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno,

11 e fece uscire Israele di mezzo a loro, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno,

12 con mano potente e con braccio teso, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno.

13 Colui che divise il mar Rosso in due parti, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno,

14 e fece passare Israele in mezzo ad esso, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno,

15 e travolse il faraone e il suo esercito nel mar Rosso, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno.

16 Colui che guidò il suo popolo attraverso il deserto, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno.

17 Colui che percosse re grandi, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno,

18 e uccise re potenti, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno:

19 Sicon, re degli Amorei, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno,

20 e Og, re di Basan, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno,

21 e diede il loro paese in eredità, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno,

22 in eredità a Israele, suo servo, perché la sua bontà dura in eterno.

1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.

2 Give thanks to the God of gods, for his steadfast love endures forever.

3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his steadfast love endures forever;

4 to him who alone does great wonders, for his steadfast love endures forever;

5 to him who by understanding made the heavens, for his steadfast love endures forever;

6 to him who spread out the earth above the waters, for his steadfast love endures forever;

7 to him who made the great lights, for his steadfast love endures forever;

8 the sun to rule over the day, for his steadfast love endures forever;

9 the moon and stars to rule over the night, for his steadfast love endures forever;

10 to him who struck down the firstborn of Egypt, for his steadfast love endures forever;

11 and brought Israel out from among them, for his steadfast love endures forever;

12 with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, for his steadfast love endures forever;

13 to him who divided the Red Sea in two, for his steadfast love endures forever;

14 and made Israel pass through the midst of it, for his steadfast love endures forever;

15 but overthrew* Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea, for his steadfast love endures forever;
