Psalm 15 | New International Version

A psalm of David.

1 Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?

2 The one whose way of life is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart;

3 whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbour, and casts no slur on others;

4 who despises a vile person but honours those who fear the Lord; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind;

5 who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken.

Ritratto del giusto

1 Salmo di Davide. O Signore, chi dimorerà nella tua tenda? Chi abiterà sul tuo santo monte?

2 Colui che è puro e agisce con giustizia e dice la verità come l’ha nel cuore;

3 che non calunnia con la sua lingua, né fa male alcuno al suo vicino, né insulta il suo prossimo.

4 Agli occhi suoi è spregevole il malvagio, ma egli onora quelli che temono il Signore. Se anche ha giurato a suo danno, non cambia;

5 non dà il suo denaro a usura, né accetta regali a danno dell’innocente. Chi agisce così non sarà mai smosso.
