Psalm 131 | King James Version

1 A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

3 Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.

1 Herre, jag är inte stolt och högfärdig. Jag tror inte att jag är bättre än andra, och jag låtsas inte att jag vet allt och klarar allt.

2 Istället är jag lugn och lika stilla inför Herren som ett barn som ligger i sin mors armar. Ja, jag är nöjd och trygg hos dig.

3 Israel, du borde också lita på Herren, både nu och i framtiden.
