Psalm 113 | Het Boek
1 Prijs de HERE! Dienaars van de HERE, loof en prijs zijn naam! 2 Laat de naam van de HERE worden geprezen en geëerd, nu en tot in eeuwigheid. 3 Over de hele aarde moet de naam van de HERE worden geprezen. 4 De HERE staat boven alle mensen en volken. Hoog boven de hemelen troont zijn heerlijkheid. 5 Is iemand te vergelijken met de HERE? Met onze God, die zo onmeetbaar hoog woont? 6 Met onze God, die zo heel laag moet neerzien om te zien wat in de hemel en op aarde gebeurt? 7 Hij helpt kleine mensen opstaan uit het stof en armen tilt Hij op uit de modder. 8 Hij laat hen zitten bij de vooraanstaanden uit het volk. 9 Onvruchtbare vrouwen verandert Hij in gelukkige moeders. Who Is like the Lord Our God?

1 Praise the Lord! Praise, O servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord! 2 Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forevermore! 3 From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised! 4 The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens! 5 Who is like the Lord our God, who is seated on high, 6 who looks far down on the heavens and the earth? 7 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap, 8 to make them sit with princes, with the princes of his people. 9 He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the Lord!
