Gott ist bei dir!

1 Ein Lied, zu singen auf dem Weg nach Jerusalem. »Ich blicke hinauf zu den Bergen: Woher wird mir Hilfe kommen?« 2 »Meine Hilfe kommt vom HERRN, der Himmel und Erde gemacht hat! 3 Und du sollst wissen:* Der HERR lässt nicht zu, dass du zu Fall kommst. Er gibt immer auf dich acht. 4 Er, der Beschützer Israels, wird nicht müde und schläft nicht ein; 5 er sorgt auch für dich. Der HERR ist bei dir, hält die Hand über dich, 6 damit dich die Hitze der Sonne nicht quält und der Mond dich nicht krank macht. 7 Der HERR wendet Gefahr von dir ab und bewahrt dein Leben. 8 Auf all deinen Wegen wird er dich beschützen, vom Anfang bis zum Ende, jetzt und in aller Zukunft!«

1 I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? 2 My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. 3 He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. 4 Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand. 6 The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. 8 The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.
