Let Everything Praise the Lord

1 Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens!* 2 Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! 3 Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! 4 Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! 5 Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!

Lobt Gott in seinem Heiligtum, lobt ihn im Himmelsgewölbe, das seine große Macht zeigt*! 2 Lobt ihn für seine gewaltigen Taten, lobt ihn, denn seine Größe ist unermesslich! 3 Lobt ihn mit Hörnerschall, lobt ihn mit Harfe und Zither! 4 Lobt ihn mit Pauke und Reigentanz, lobt ihn mit Saiteninstrumenten und Flötenspiel*! 5 Lobt ihn mit hell tönenden Zimbeln*, lobt ihn ´auch` mit tief schallenden Zimbeln! 6 Alles, was atmet*, lobe den HERRN!
