The Lord Reigns

1 The Lord reigns; he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed; he has put on strength as his belt. Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved. 2 Your throne is established from of old; you are from everlasting. 3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their roaring. 4 Mightier than the thunders of many waters, mightier than the waves of the sea, the Lord on high is mighty! 5 Your decrees are very trustworthy; holiness befits your house, O Lord, forevermore.

1 Der HERR ist König! Hoheit bekleidet ihn wie ein Festgewand, mit Macht ist er umgürtet. Er hat die Fundamente der Erde gelegt, niemals gerät sie ins Wanken. 2 HERR, seit Urzeiten steht dein Thron fest, vor Beginn aller Zeiten warst du schon da. 3 Die Fluten der Meere toben und tosen, sie brüllen ihr mächtiges Lied. 4 Doch stärker als das Donnern gewaltiger Wasser, größer als die Wogen des Meeres ist der HERR in der Höhe! 5 Dein Wort, HERR, ist wahr und zuverlässig, dein Tempel ist für alle Zeiten mit Heiligkeit erfüllt!
