My Soul Waits for God Alone

1 To the choirmaster: according to Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. 2 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken. 3 How long will all of you attack a man to batter him, like a leaning wall, a tottering fence? 4 They only plan to thrust him down from his high position. They take pleasure in falsehood. They bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. 5 For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. 7 On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. 8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. 9 Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath. 10 Put no trust in extortion; set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them. 11 Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God, 12 and that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For you will render to a man according to his work.

1 我的心默默等候上帝，祂是我的拯救者。 2 唯有祂才是我的磐石，我的拯救，我的堡垒，我必不致动摇。 3 我就像一面摇摇欲坠的墙壁、行将倒塌的篱笆，你们要攻击我、置我于死地到何时呢？ 4 你们千方百计把我从高位拉下。你们善于说谎，嘴上祝福，心却咒诅。（细拉） 5 我的心啊！要默默等候上帝，因为我的盼望从祂而来。 6 唯有祂才是我的磐石，我的拯救，我的堡垒，我必不致动摇。 7 上帝是我的拯救者，是我的荣耀，祂是我的坚固磐石，是我的避难所。 8 众百姓啊，要时刻信靠上帝，向祂倾心吐意，因为祂是我们的避难所。（细拉） 9 卑贱人不过是一丝气息，尊贵人不过是一场幻影，把他们放在天平上一秤，比空气还轻，毫无分量。 10 不要敲诈勒索，不要妄想靠偷盗发财，即使财富增多，也不要倚靠它。 11 上帝再三告诉我：祂拥有权能， 12 充满慈爱。主啊，你必照各人的行为来施行赏罚。
