Glorious Things of You Are Spoken

1 A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. A Song. On the holy mount stands the city he founded; 2 the Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling places of Jacob. 3 Glorious things of you are spoken, O city of God. 4 Among those who know me I mention Rahab and Babylon; behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Cush*— “This one was born there,” they say. 5 And of Zion it shall be said, “This one and that one were born in her”; for the Most High himself will establish her. 6 The Lord records as he registers the peoples, “This one was born there.” 7 Singers and dancers alike say, “All my springs are in you.”

1 Él la fundó sobre los santos montes. 2 Ama YHVH las puertas de Sión Más que todas las moradas de Jacob. 3 Cosas gloriosas se dicen de ti, ¡Oh ciudad de Dios! Selah 4 Yo haré mención de Rahab, y de Babilonia entre los que me conocen, He aquí Filistea, Tiro y Etiopía: Éste nació allá. 5 Y de Sión se dirá: Éste y aquél han nacido en ella, Y ’Elyón mismo la establecerá. 6 YHVH contará al inscribir a los pueblos: Éste nació allí. Selah 7 Entonces los que cantan y los que danzan dirán: ¡Todas mis fuentes están en ti!
