Psalm 61 | English Standard Version

Lead Me to the Rock

1 To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. Of David. Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer; 2 from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I, 3 for you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy. 4 Let me dwell in your tent forever! Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings! 5 For you, O God, have heard my vows; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name. 6 Prolong the life of the king; may his years endure to all generations! 7 May he be enthroned forever before God; appoint steadfast love and faithfulness to watch over him! 8 So will I ever sing praises to your name, as I perform my vows day after day.

1 ¡Oh ’Elohim, oye mi clamor y atiende mi oración! 2 Cuando mi corazón desmaya, clamo a ti desde el extremo de la tierra: ¡Llévame a la Roca que es más alta que yo! 3 Porque Tú has sido mi refugio, Torre fuerte frente al enemigo. 4 ¡Oh, que yo pueda morar en tu Tienda para siempre, Refugiado al amparo de tus alas! Selah 5 Porque Tú, ’Elohim, has oído mis votos, Has dado heredad a los que temen tu Nombre. 6 Añadirás días a los días del rey, Sus años serán como generaciones. 7 Se sentará para siempre delante de Dios, Concede misericordia y verdad, para que lo guarden. 8 Así cantaré salmos a tu Nombre para siempre, Cumpliendo mis votos día tras día.
