1¡Aleluya! ¡Alaba alma mía a YHVH!2Alabaré a YHVH en mi vida, Tañeré para mi Dios mientras viva.3No confiéis en príncipes, Ni en hijo de hombre, en quien no hay salvación.4Sale su espíritu y vuelve al polvo; Ese día perecen sus planes.5¡Cuán bienaventurado es aquél cuyo ayudador es el Dios de Jacob! Aquel cuya esperanza está en YHVH su Dios,6Que hizo los cielos y la tierra; el mar, y todo lo que en ellos hay. Que mantiene su fidelidad perpetuamente,7Que hace justicia a los oprimidos, Que da pan a los hambrientos.
