1 （大卫的诗，照耶杜顿的作法，交与伶长。）我的心默默无声，专等候　神；我的救恩是从他而来。 2 惟独他是我的磐石，我的拯救；他是我的高 ? ，我必不很动摇。 3 你们大家攻击一人，把他毁坏，如同毁坏歪斜的墙、将倒的壁，要到几时呢？ 4 他们彼此商议，专要从他的尊位上把他推下；他们喜爱谎话，口虽祝福，心却咒诅。（细拉） 5 我的心哪，你当默默无声，专等候　神，因为我的盼望是从他而来。 6 惟独他是我的磐石，我的拯救；他是我的高 ? ，我必不动摇。 7 我的拯救、我的荣耀都在乎　神；我力量的磐石、我的避难所都在乎　神。 8 你们众民当时时倚靠他，在他面前倾心吐意；　神是我们的避难所。（细拉） 9 下流人真是虚空；上流人也是虚假；放在天平里就必浮起；他们一共比空气还轻。 10 不要仗势欺人，也不要因抢夺而骄傲；若财宝加增，不要放在心上。 11 神说了一次、两次，我都听见：就是能力都属乎　神。 12 主啊，慈爱也是属乎你，因为你照着各人所行的报应他。

My Soul Waits for God Alone

1 To the choirmaster: according to Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. 2 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken. 3 How long will all of you attack a man to batter him, like a leaning wall, a tottering fence? 4 They only plan to thrust him down from his high position. They take pleasure in falsehood. They bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. 5 For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. 7 On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. 8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. 9 Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath. 10 Put no trust in extortion; set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them. 11 Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God, 12 and that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For you will render to a man according to his work.
