1 （以东人多益来告诉扫罗说：大卫到了亚希米勒家。那时，大卫作这训诲诗，交与伶长。）勇士啊，你为何以作恶自夸？神的慈爱是常存的。 2 你的舌头邪恶诡诈，好像剃头刀，快利伤人。 3 你爱恶胜似爱善，又爱说谎，不爱说公义。（细拉） 4 诡诈的舌头啊，你爱说一切毁灭的话！ 5 神也要毁灭你，直到永远；他要把你拿去，从你的帐棚中抽出，从活人之地将你拔出。（细拉） 6 义人要看见而惧怕，并要笑他， 7 说：看哪，这就是那不以　神为他力量的人，只倚仗他丰富的财物，在邪恶上坚立自己。 8 至於我，就像　神殿中的青橄榄树；我永永远远倚靠　神的慈爱。 9 我要称谢你，直到永远，因为你行了这事。我也要在你圣民面前仰望你的名；这名本为美好。

The Steadfast Love of God Endures

1 To the choirmaster. A Maskil* of David, when Doeg, the Edomite, came and told Saul, “David has come to the house of Ahimelech.” Why do you boast of evil, O mighty man? The steadfast love of God endures all the day. 2 Your tongue plots destruction, like a sharp razor, you worker of deceit. 3 You love evil more than good, and lying more than speaking what is right. 4 You love all words that devour, O deceitful tongue. 5 But God will break you down forever; he will snatch and tear you from your tent; he will uproot you from the land of the living. 6 The righteous shall see and fear, and shall laugh at him, saying, 7 “See the man who would not make God his refuge, but trusted in the abundance of his riches and sought refuge in his own destruction!”* 8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the steadfast love of God forever and ever. 9 I will thank you forever, because you have done it. I will wait for your name, for it is good, in the presence of the godly.
